As of March 1, 2022, the provisions of the Special Intervention Zone (ZIS) are replaced by new provisions adopted by the Government of Quebec under the Environment Quality Act. These provisions are temporary in nature and will be replaced when the new flood risk area maps and permanent regulations are adopted by the government.
